White Glove Desktop/Deskside Support Technician
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable White Glove Desktop / Deskside Support Technician to provide Desktop support for three upscale long-term care facilities close to one another. If you’re great with technology, enjoy helping people, and want to work in a supportive and welcoming environment, this is your perfect role!
What You’ll Do
- Desktop and Hardware Support:
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Handle very basic desktop and hardware issues with care and precision.
- Application Assistance:
- Provide support for software and applications (we’ll train you on the details).
- Make sure users are comfortable and confident with their tech tools.
- Printer Support:
- Install and maintain printers.
- Solve common printing issues to keep things running smoothly.
- Occasional A/V and Access Control Help (Bonus):
- Assist with A/V conferencing setups and troubleshooting (nice to have but not required).
- Knowledge of access control and camera systems is a plus, but we’re happy to teach.
- Travel Between Locations:
- You’ll rotate between three nearby facilities on different days (so having a car is a must).
- Customer-Focused Service:
- Deliver exceptional, hands-on support with a “can-do” attitude.
- Be approachable, helpful, and easy to work with – we value great people skills!
What You’ll Bring
- IT Certification(s) or related college degree
- 1-5 years of Desktop / Deskside support and troubleshooting.
- A willingness to learn – especially for application support (we’ll guide you).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – helpfulness is key.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and keeping users happy.
- Reliable transportation to travel between nearby locations.
