We are seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining cost-effective and safe operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, ensuring smooth service and meal quality.
- Supervise, train, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
- Plan and develop menus in accordance with customer preferences, and budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food stock to ensure that there is always enough food and supplies on hand, minimizing waste.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and food presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare reports on food service performance, including cost analysis, sales, and customer feedback.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing food operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen operations, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
