What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Dietary Services position at Confidential?
We are looking for an experienced Director of Dietary Services to join our team at our facilities located in Greensburg PA. Due to this being a working manager position, cooking experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all department staff including dietary aides and cooks
- Menu planning and implementation of menus including menus for residents that have dietary restrictions, pureed , mechanical soft etc.
- Ordering all food and supplies
- Maintains overall cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Familiar and follows all state regulations
- Creates schedule for department
- Facilitates monthly department meeting
Skills
- Proven experience as a kitchen supervisor and cook
- Strong management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
