Director of Nursing - RN (DON)

A * nursing home near Marietta, Ohio is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. As the Director of Nursing (DON)*. You will oversee nursing operations, manage staffing and budgeting, and foster an environment that promotes professional growth and clinical excellence.

Director of Nursing (RN) Responsibilities:

· Assure that residents receive the highest quality care

· Facilitate excellent relationships through open channels of communication with residents, families, and staff.

· Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

· Update, and communicate nursing standards, written policies and procedures, job descriptions, and goals and objectives

· Collaborate and partner with hospitals, physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents

· Participating in leadership team decisions

· Provide on-call support for facility

Director of Nursing (RN) Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.

· Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels

· Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
