Dispatcher/Sales Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a Dispatcher/Sales professional who will be responsible for all aspects of quoting, scheduling and dispatching the trucking of topsoil, aggregates, asphalt, and intercompany transport of various types of equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Understand and implement safety requirements in the construction trucking industry.
- Answering phones, providing quotes, entering orders, and recommending products for various applications.
- Coordinating and scheduling personnel and equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and company efficiency.
- Handling permitting and scheduling pilot vehicles as needed for oversize loads.
- Relay directions and order information.
- Completing day-to-day office tasks, such as data entry, paperwork, and filing.
- Offering suggestions and recommendations to supervisors and managers to continually improve operations.

Required Education and Experience:
- Class B or A license, with experience operating a dump truck/trailer, and the willingness to fill in for employees who are sick or on vacation.
- 2 to 5 years of construction industry dispatch experience, preferably in Rochester and surrounding markets.
