Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District Manager to oversee 8-12 high-visibility, newly remodeled convenience store locations in the Richmond, VA area. These locations feature modernized designs and new deli concepts, requiring expertise in both the convenience store (c-store) retail environment and quick-service restaurant (QSR) or deli operations. The District Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of these flagship stores by driving operational excellence, fostering team development, and exceeding corporate performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across 8-12 convenience store locations, ensuring alignment with company policies, standards, and goals.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor store managers to ensure high performance, leadership growth, and alignment with corporate values.
- Provide ongoing performance evaluations, goal setting, and development plans for store-level leadership teams.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all locations.
Sales and Profitability
- Drive sales growth by analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and developing strategic action plans.
- Manage labor costs, inventory, and budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to develop and execute local marketing initiatives that promote the new deli concepts.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all locations adhere to health and safety regulations, food service standards, and company policies.
- Monitor and manage compliance with store appearance, merchandising, and operational standards.
- Act as a liaison between store locations and corporate leadership to ensure effective communication and alignment on goals.
- Implement and maintain operational excellence, with a focus on high-quality customer service and consistent execution of new deli and QSR concepts.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide on-site coaching to store managers.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
