About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director in Training to participate in a comprehensive program designed to develop the expertise and skills necessary for a successful career in senior care administration. The program includes a rotation through various departments and duties in skilled nursing and assisted living communities, education on the interrelationships of the community with outside parties and government agencies, and a study of the regulations and requirements associated with the operation of a skilled nursing community. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations and consulting teams, complete the AIT program's rotational structure, and engage in a capstone project. Additionally, the role involves shadowing consultants and managers, representing the company and the managed community, and ensuring that community operations meet regulatory and corporate standards. Candidates for this position should be pursuing a degree in health care administration / management, business administration, or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. A current and valid state Nursing Home Administrator's license / certification, or eligibility for examination and licensure, is required. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in a long-term care community or home health agency, and must possess the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, as is the willingness to relocate within a specific geographic region and the ability to travel up to 75% during the program.
