POSITION PURPOSE:
Leads the development and execution of the long-term strategic vision, goals, policies, and procedures for the Information Technology function, including IT Support Services, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Project Management, and both corporate and storefront applications. Responsible for defining the organization's technology roadmap, identifying business system needs, and overseeing software and hardware procurement to support overall business objectives. Fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders, field leadership, vendors, and the broader community to ensure consistent service quality and satisfaction. Provides support for all wireless entities within the Round Room organization.

- Establishes the IT strategy by collaborating with senior leadership to define the organizational vision and determine how technology can best support business objectives.
- Aligns information technology with business success by leveraging knowledge of the organization's systems, structures, and functions to optimize technology use.
- Serves as a change agent by proactively monitoring, leading, and influencing change within IT and across the organization.
- Provides strategic technological guidance to internal business partners. Consults with executives and department leaders to exchange information, present new solutions, and discuss process or system changes.
- Builds technological confidence throughout the organization by communicating the value and business impact of IT solutions.
- Develops and maintains external relationships and partnerships to influence policy decisions and ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
- Defines and enforces IT governance principles and processes (e.g., ITIL), ensuring compliance with system and project management methodologies.
- Develops and manages annual capital and operational budgets. Anticipates long-term capital needs and allocates resources effectively within budgetary and policy constraints.
- Leads the recruitment, development, and performance management of IT team members. Provides coaching, direction, motivation, supervision, and training to ensure team success.
- Oversees the enterprise-wide project portfolio and project management capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Directs the organization's cybersecurity strategy to ensure compliance with applicable laws, Verizon policies, and internal security standards.
- Leads the reporting and analytics strategy, governance, and execution to ensure all functional areas have the necessary visibility into KPIs and predictive data.
- Drives innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, industry trends, and cultural insights for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Maintains a working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and leads the development of an AI strategy as the technology evolves.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 20 years of related experience, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role.
- Master’s degree (M.B.A., M.A., or M.S.) in Information Technology is preferred.
- Extensive background in project management; PMP certification is desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Frequently reads, interprets, and analyzes scientific and technical journals, complex financial reports, and legal documents.
- Routinely responds to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Regularly presents information to senior leadership, public audiences, and boards of directors.
- Serves as the public-facing representative of IT at conventions, sales rallies, field meetings, and ownership calls.
