The Fiber Technician is a specialized role focused on ensuring flawless implementation splicing and maintenance of ISP fiber optic systems. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to splicing an indepth understanding of fiber infrastructure and the ability to deliver toptier performance in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
ISP Fiber Setup and Maintenance
- Execute precision fiber splicing using tools such as the Fujikura Splicer ensuring optimal signal integrity and minimal loss.
- Conduct OTDR Testing to identify faults and verify fiber quality.
- Perform panel terminations to establish seamless fiber connections.
- Assemble and install fiber patch panels and organize enclosures with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate on ISP commercial projects ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
- Pull and terminate fiber cables within ISP environments ensuring pathways are efficient and protected from interference or damage.
