Position Purpose/Summary: The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for examining, analyzing, and evaluating the entirety of a corporation’s financial activities in order to measure the company’s progress toward achieving its financial performance goals and to assist in mapping out future financial goals and plans. The successful candidate must enjoy working with financial data and have the ability to understand financial statements and communicate recommendations to senior management.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA certificate, MBA or FP&A Certification a plus.
Experience:
- 3 or more years of Financial Planning and & Analysis experience preferred.
- Product packaging and services industry experience a plus.
- Must enjoy working in a fast paced; high volume and ever changing work environment.
- Ability to understand, create and modify financial models.
Technology/Software:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong computer/systems skills; prior experience with Navison a plus.
- Ability to utilize standard software applications to include MS Office suite
Communication:
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present financial analysis, findings, conclusions and recommendations in clear and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain rapport with all levels of co-workers.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables
All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
- Prepare monthly and year to date financial reporting and analysis of various business units and departments vs. Budget. Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, gross margins and operating and G&A expenses.
- Update financial forecasts on a monthly basis.
- Continuous improvement of Budgeting.
- Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
- Monthly Sales vs. Budget analysis by customer.
- Pricing analysis, including profitability metrics by customer and product.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
On-going outcome that is measurable (minimum of 3)
- Delivery of monthly and year to date financial analysis reporting within closing schedule timeline.
- Update financial forecasts on a monthly basis within a designated timeframe
- Preparation of monthly pricing analysis within a designated timeframe.
Salary : $81,588 - $122,382
