Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a strong proficiency in Adaptive Planning (or similar FP&A software). As the FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s financial strategy, providing key insights for decision-making, and supporting leadership in achieving business objectives.
This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Forecasting:
- Lead the development and maintenance of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Work closely with General Managers and department heads to gather inputs, analyze assumptions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Review variance analysis and develop corrective actions to meet financial targets.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc performance analysis for senior management.
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decision-making.
- Drive the development of actionable insights to optimize business performance and improve profitability.
- Adaptive Planning Implementation & Management:
- Own the ongoing implementation, configuration, and administration of Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Develop and streamline forecasting and budgeting processes within Adaptive Planning, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to teams using Adaptive Planning to ensure consistent and effective utilization.
- Business Partnering & Strategic Support:
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Business Development, and HR, to drive financial results.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
- Support decision-making by providing scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and financial projections for key strategic initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive process improvements in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis, leveraging technology and tools to improve the FP&A function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, with a proven track record of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Strong experience with Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle)
- Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Working knowledge of advanced data analytics tools or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data structures
