Floor Technician

We are a rapidly growing company and currently searching for a floor technician that will perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

• The duties consist of floor sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, recoating and burnishing of hard floor.
• Most of the work is performed with ride-on and walk behind scrubbers & burnishers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, etc.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Use and maintain equipment properly.
• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
• Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”
• Ability to work without normal supervision
• Wiling to work
• Reports safety hazards as appropriate
• Must be able to pass background check.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Knowledge of environmental services

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Floor Tech: 1 year (Required)
• Floor care: 1 year (Required)
