What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food & Beverage Director position at Confidential?
Independent Restaurant Group in Sonoma County is looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Director to run the daily operations of a well-established restaurant with private dining.
The ideal candidate would bring 3 years of experience in managing both front and back of the house. The back of house reports to the General Manager.
Some of the core competencies include the ability to lead and motive teams, creating a positive and productive work environment. Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including budgeting, cost controls, and profit analysis. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and food safety procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and vendors. Attract patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public and community programs.
A savvy comprehension of private dining/banquets is preferred, but not required.
It would also be beneficial to have knowledge of the Sonoma County Restaurant Market and be up on restaurant trends locally.
Salary would be commensurate with experience and range between $85,000 to $95,000. Benefits available after introductory period.
