HCC Auditor – Hybrid (Healthcare Industry)
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000 DOE
Location : Hybrid (2-3 days remote per week)
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Are you an experienced HCC Auditor looking for a hybrid opportunity in the healthcare industry? We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct chart audits, risk adjustment coding, and physician queries to ensure accuracy in HCC coding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform prospective and retrospective chart reviews to validate coding accuracy
Identify HCC coding improvement opportunities and provide feedback to providers
Assist with CMS Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) audits and health plan audits
Maintain tracking tools for medical record review projects
Stay current with ICD-10-CM guidelines, CMS regulations, and HCC coding updates
Follow HIPAA protocols and compliance standards
Qualifications :
3 years of medical coding experience (1 year in HCC / Risk Adjustment coding)
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
Experience in Medicare HCC coding and compliance
Certifications preferred : CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, CRC (AHIMA / AAPC)
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
