We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
- Assist with maintaining patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.
- Handle phone inquiries, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
- Manage medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Monitor and record vital signs when required.
- Support the clinic's operations by assisting with medical services and in office procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical reception or medical assistant role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical practices and outpatient care is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, and staff members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining individual responsibilities.
