Job Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hip hop dance teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hip hop dance, possess excellent communication and instructional skills, and have a strong ability to engage and inspire students of ages 6-12 at beginner skill levels.
Responsibilities :
Develop and Plan Lessons :
Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and goals of the dance program.
- Incorporate a variety of hip hop dance styles, techniques, and movements into lessons.
Instruction :
Provide clear and concise instructions to students, ensuring they understand and execute dance movements correctly.
Choreography :
Create and teach choreography for performances, recitals, and competitions.
Class Management :
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Progress Assessment :
Regularly assess and evaluate students' progress and skill development.
Communication :
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding class schedules, performances, and other relevant information.
