About Us: Our after-school center was founded in 2011 and we have grown from one location to four locations, all located in the Chicago Bridgeport area. We offer a number of programs to support our families in our community, including a dynamic kids summer program. Our summer program seeks to introduce and highlight various arts to elementary students such as dancing, cooking, and art.
Job description: We are looking for a candidate with a passion for dance and for children! This part time position requires teaching dance classes throughout the week in the afternoon to elementary students ages 5-12.
Hours: part time in the afternoons Monday-Friday, expected 20-25 hours per week
Job Duties: Teach K-Pop/Hip hop dances to students ages 5-12, help prepare students to give a mini performance, teach about the history and meaning of dance
Pay: $25-35 hourly
Qualifications:
Some previous dance instructor experience working with students ages 5-12 required.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
