Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Manager to manager the company’s Human Resources. The HR manager will be responsible for specific HR functions, including compliance, benefits, and employee relations. This role requires someone with a strong foundation in HR processes and a commitment to helping create a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to develop job postings, source and screen candidates and coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into the organization. Selection of candidates and hiring is performed by Department managers.
- Employee Records & HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS. Ensure data integrity and assist in generating HR reports and analytics for decision-making.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries, support annual open enrollment, and coordinate with benefit providers to resolve issues.
- Policy Compliance & Documentation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure HR policies are accurately documented, updated, and in compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws. Assist with policy rollout and employee training on new policies.
- Employee Relations Support: Provide general support on employee relations issues, assisting managers and employees with routine inquiries and escalating more complex issues as needed.
- HR Projects & Initiatives: Participate in special HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in an HR role, preferably with exposure to various HR functions.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
