As the sole IT professional, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the practice's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Network Management: Monitor and maintain network performance, including wired and wireless networks. Implement network security measures.
- Software Management: Install, update, and manage software applications used by the practice. Ensure compatibility and functionality of all software.
- Data Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage data backup solutions. Ensure data integrity and perform regular data recovery tests.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related services and support. Manage contracts and service agreements.
- IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement IT policies and procedures. Plan for future IT needs and recommend upgrades and improvements.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training to staff on IT systems and best practices. Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network, server management, and Microsoft 365 suite
- Proficiency in SonicWall Firewalls and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with data backup and recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Schedule: Full time - 40 hours/week or greater
Weekly Work Schedule: 8a to 5p Monday-Thursday, 7a to 1p Friday
