What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Confidential?
We are seeking a Laborer to join our team. Experience on a farm or ranch is a plus. This position is based outdoors so applicants must be able to work in extreme heat and cold. It will be helpful if applicants are experienced in manual tasks using hand tools, heavy machinery operation a plus but not required as on-the-job training will occur as needed. Candidates should be comfortable working with pesticides and chemicals, work well as a team but be able to work independently once trained. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
General laborer duties include: mending fences, cutting trees, plowing, planting, cultivating, applying fertilizer and chemicals, maintain barn cleanliness and organization, operate and maintain farm equipment for fieldwork, utilize tools for various ranch maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on a farm or ranch is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
