As the Learning and Development Manager , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and initiatives that enhance employees’ skills, knowledge, and overall performance. There will be a heavy emphasis in this role for instructor-led training delivery and hands on facilitation of various training programs. This role focuses on improving organizational effectiveness by supporting employee growth and development, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and aligning training initiatives with business goals.
Job Description : Training Needs :
Collaborate with department heads and managers to assess training and development needs across the organization.
Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
Program Development :
Create and design engaging training programs, workshops, and courses to meet identified needs.
Develop course materials, e-learning modules, presentations, and other resources.
Customize training content to align with organizational goals, values, and culture.
Training Delivery :
Facilitate in-person or virtual training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
Utilize diverse learning methods such as blended learning, e-learning, on-the-job training, and coaching.
Encourage active participation and foster peer learning environments.
Program Evaluation & Improvement :
Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
Use evaluation data to adjust and improve training materials and delivery methods.
Report on the outcomes and impact of training programs to management.
Learning Technology & Tools :
Manage and optimize learning management systems for tracking training progress and certifications.
Stay up to date with new training technologies and learning trends to ensure innovative approaches to learning and development.
Employee Development :
Support career development initiatives and provide coaching or mentoring to employees.
Assist in creating individual development plans for employees in collaboration with managers.
Compliance & Certifications :
Ensure that employees are trained on compliance-related topics (e.g., health and safety, diversity and inclusion, industry-specific regulations).
Maintain records of training completions and certifications.
Talent Management :
Contribute to succession planning by identifying potential leaders and preparing them for future roles.
Help develop programs focused on leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and other competencies critical for organizational growth.
Collaboration & Communication :
Partner with HR and other departments to ensure alignment of L&D initiatives with organizational objectives.
Communicate training opportunities effectively to employees and foster a culture of lifelong learning.
Certifications and Other Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3 years experience in learning and development, training, or related fields.
Proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs.
Hands-on instruction capabilities.
Proficiency with learning management systems and other training technologies.
Skills

Ability to analyze and identify training needs.
