Location: you must reside in Manatee or Sarasota county. This is only a partially remote position. Your physical presence in the office will be required often.
Responsibilities:
Conduct intake interviews with clients to gather necessary information - Write and draft documents, such as contracts and agreements - Perform data entry tasks to input client information into document management systems - Provide clerical support, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents - Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to privacy regulations - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient case management
- Data entry for new files.
- Manage all administrative responsibilities in the legal office that includes sending emails, making copies, processing client payments, and organizing file systems.
- Manage incoming emails from the answering service and other employees and attorneys.
- Answer multi-line telephone and process calls accordingly.
- Schedule appointments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or legal environment is preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in using document management systems and other software applications - Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology is a plus - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to conduct interviews and gather information from clients effectively.
