Healthcare Nursing Center
Our Skilled Nursing Facility is currently seeking a full time Director of Maintenance (DM). The DM will oversee the upkeep of our facilities to assure that the facility meets current federal, state and local standards for the safety, cleanliness and the comfort of our clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, and supervising in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
- Plan and schedule repairs.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
- Clean and assist with upkeep of facility.
- Upkeep of grounds, including lawn care and snow ice removal.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled
Qualifications:
- 3 years related work experience required in a long term skill nursing or hospital setting, repairing and maintaining HVAC/PTAC units, plumbing and electrical
- Basic knowledge of tools and their use.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and painting skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
