Maintenance Director
Full-Time
A Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation client located on the South Shore in MA is seeking a Maintenance Director to join their team and ensure maintenance of the facility and equipment is kept at the highest standard for residents and employees.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Maintenance Director is responsible for the maintenance of the facility and equipment, including preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs. Additional responsibilities include providing counsel to management regarding facility issues and supervising staff members in maintenance and grounds keeping.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
- Must have knowledge of Life Safety regulations as well as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC comprehension.
- Must have prior experience as a Maintenance Director; Skilled Nursing Home setting preferred.
- Must carry beeper and respond to maintenance call
- Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.
- Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Must read and follow personnel, department, and facility policies.
- Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
- Must be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan and follow policies and procedures.
