Materials Manager
Provides overall supervision of Warehouse Operations employees including warehouse, shipping, receiving and material handling:
- Detailed knowledge of both capturing and creating/improving Key Performance Indicators.
- Pro-actively applies lean and other processes and technologies to meet
department and plant production goals; increase efficiencies and reduce
operating costs.
- Pro-actively investigates, learns, prepares and implements solutions to
inventory, delivery, cost and quality issues.
- Manages and achieves inventory goals and values, maintains accurate inventories
- Ensures production materials arrive on time to meet production schedules
- Manages supplier issues relating to the quality of incoming goods
- Ensures the warehouse layout is organized, with an emphasis on visual
management.
Availability
- Must be available to work scheduled shift Monday-Friday
- Must be available to work occasional mandatory Saturdays

- Education and/or Experience – Preferred Bachelor's degree in Logistics and
Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience,
experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment working with and
supporting OEMs/Tier1 suppliers; experience in plastic and chrome- plated
decorative trim product beneficial.
- Leadership Skills - 3 years Supervisory and Department Management
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
familiarity with MRP/ERP software, EDI, OEM communication tools and all
Microsoft applications.

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree / Associate Degree on Supply chain management, business administration, Procurement & Logistics, Engineering or any other related field or Equivalent Experience.
- APICS Certification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $101,800.00 - $115,000.00 per year
