Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, surgeries, and consultations.
- Monitor and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage billing and insurance processes, including claims submission and reimbursement.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of human resources practices in a healthcare setting is a plus.
