Area of Responsibility: As our Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the Site Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant. This position involves collaborating with various departments, managing personnel, and ensuring the smooth functioning of plant activities, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to coordinate and oversee daily plant operations.
- Assist in managing production schedules and ensuring adherence to production targets.
- Work with production teams to allocate resources and optimize workflows.
- Support in maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols.
- Assist in training plant personnel and ensuring compliance with PPE requirements.
- Monitor and oversee the maintenance of plant equipment.
- Ensure accurate and complete filling of daily batch sheets and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in directing employees to comply with company policies and procedures.
- Assign duties to employees to support production requirements.
- Provide support to employees in problem-solving and addressing production challenges.
- Assist the Inventory Control Specialist with packaging/shipping supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and address challenges.
- Conduct regular inspections of the plant to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of certification standards for various production duties.
- Monitor vacation and PTO requests of employees.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):
- Achievement of production targets and schedules.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Efficiency and optimization of plant workflows.
- Proper maintenance of plant equipment.
- Employee satisfaction and team performance.
Required Minimum skills:
- Relevant education or experience in plant operations or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of SAP transactions
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to conduct meeting and high-level presentations
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
- Ability to assist in identifying and addressing operational challenges within the plant, collaborating with the Operation Manager to implement effective solutions that ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected to meet customers.
- Regular Workday is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Available to work overtime and on the weekend when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
