Primary Responsibilities:
- Patient History & Assessment – Accurately obtain and document patient history, including chief complaints, medical history, and any relevant ocular history.
- Diagnostic Testing – Perform and assist with various diagnostic tests, including:
- Retinal imaging (retinal camera, OCT)
- Auto refraction
- Lensometry
- Corneal topography
- Visual field testing
- EHR & Documentation – Proficiently manage electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation, billing, and compliance.
- Clinical Assistance & Workflow Support – Assist eye care providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care by ensuring smooth clinic flow.
- Physician Support – Professionally support physicians with real-time electronic chart documentation, patient care coordination, and patient education.
- Adaptability & Performance – Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- EHR Scribing & Training – Train to transcribe and document clinical visits in real time under physician supervision, ensuring precise and up-to-date patient records.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
