Large and growing company seeking a Mechanical Parts Manager
Requirements/Responsibilities
- · Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of light, medium and heavy-duty truck suspension, steering and brake repair and maintenance
- · Work with technicians to identify and order correct parts
- · Generate and update customer quotes using Maddenco software
- · Generate and update repair orders in Maddenco
- · Utilize the order management system to accurately track and manage inventory
- · Take customer calls throughout the day with the ability to answer their questions and quote jobs for them
- · Set inventory stock levels and complete orders as needed with established vendors
- · Complete inventory cycle counts
- · Keep inventory received and put away in the correct locations
- · Ensure all charges are correct on repair orders before closing
- · Contact customers to address any concerns, changes in repairs, etc
- · Ability to hold self and employees accountable
- · Must be excellent at typing
- · Must be efficient using Microsoft word and excel
- · Must have excellent customer service skills
- · Able to work in a team environment
- · Must be able to multitask
- · Self starter and extremely motivated
- · Valid driver license, cleaning driving record
Experience
- · Minimum 5 years in medium and heavy-duty truck suspension, steering systems and brake repairs
- · Minimum of 5 years in inventory management
- · Minimum of 3 years in employee management and work scheduling
- · Must have experience dealing with customers
Hours
Approximately Mon-Friday 7:30-4:30
Saturday as needed
Full benefit package after 90 days of employment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
