Plant Controller

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; analyze financial data to prepare summaries and ensure accurate and efficient results.
• Evaluate financial information to recommend and develop efficient resource utilization and procedures; provide strategic advice to operations leadership.
• Maintain ownership of the chart of accounts and ensure periodic bank reconciliations are completed.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable process; manage vendor payments, Accounts Receivable, cash application, and monitor aged invoices and credit limits.
• Review manufacturing costs, overhead, and G&A expenses; recommend overhead absorption rates and cost management initiatives.
• Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Comply with provincial and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist and oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Handle company and customer confidential data with utmost discretion.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
