We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee our manufacturing operations. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Train and mentor team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with staff to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Assist in fabricating components as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues on the production floor.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any discrepancies to management.
- In a production environment, there is a time component for each item that will be produced.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as operating forklifts, is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble and fabricate components effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining quality control.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
