A large specialty construction services company that specializes in the commercial insulation and air barrier market. We are the largest masonry foam contractor in the United States and have a significant footprint in the spray foam and air barrier markets throughout multiple states.
We are looking for a proactive experienced business to business sales professional that will focus on relationships, follow-up, competitive feedback and active engagement with our customers. The person in this role will work in our Tyler, Texas office when not traveling in their territory.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is an ideal fit for a highly motivated self-starter willing to commit to learning our business and developing long-term relationships. The sales representative reviews bid opportunities, has a working knowledge of the construction business and will commit to becoming a subject matter expert on the products we provide to our customers. Organization and consistent follow-up are keys to growing the business. We want our sales team members to consistently travel to customer offices and job sites and be committed to exceeding customer expectations. This position requires overnight travel. Our sales representatives should be in the field in front of our customers at least 50-60% of the time after the initial training period.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review of all plan service providers and customer bid invitations
· Coordinate bidding timelines and priorities with our estimating staff
· Make sure customer inquiries and bid requests are handled expeditiously
· Following up with leads and customers with email and phone interactions
· Meeting with customers at their offices and job sites
· Manage and update our CRM systems daily
· Provide weekly activity and commitment reports
· Provide work orders to our operations team that are timely and accurate
· Other responsibilities as assigned
DESIRED SKILLS
- Competency in Microsoft programs
- Must have two years of business to business sales experience.
- Ability to learn to read plans and perform simple take-offs
