Your Role :

As a Senior Benefits Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing benefits programs, negotiating coverage terms, and ensuring seamless service execution. You will work closely with producers, account executives, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver high-value solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Service & Execution

  • Develop and execute customized benefits service strategies for clients.
  • Manage benefits program proposals, renewals, and implementation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on risk analysis, program structure, and coverage options.
  • Market Strategy & Negotiation

  • Prepare and present insurance program comparisons to clients.
  • Engage with underwriters to negotiate premiums, coverage terms, and policy options.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance forms, and regulatory changes.
  • Data & Process Integrity

  • Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with service workflows and internal processes.
  • Meet key quality and efficiency metrics in service execution.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Train and mentor Client Service Representatives and junior staff.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and internal teams .
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • What You Need :
  • Required :
  • Active Life / Health Producer License (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • 2 years of Account Manager experience in an insurance brokerage or related field.
  • Preferred :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CEBS are a plus.
  • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
