Now Hiring: Neuro Tele RN – Night Shift (Contract)
Location: Buffalo, NY
Shift: 3x12s or 4x12s | Days or Nights | Every Other Weekend & Holiday
Contract Duration: 8-13 weeks
Pay: $2,550/week (36 hrs) | $3,400/week (48 hrs)
Local Rate: $61/hr ($91.50 OT/Holiday)
Job Overview:
Join a traveler-friendly facility offering resume-building experience and guaranteed hours! As a Neuro Tele RN, you’ll care for neuro medical and neurosurgical patients, including stroke and brain injury cases, in a 300 bed hospital.
Requirements:
✔ Experience: 2 years of recent Neuro Tele in a 300 bed hospital
✔ License: Active RN License
✔ Certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (Required)
✔ Skills:
- Proficient in telemetry interpretation
- Comfortable managing higher patient ratios (1:5-7)
- Experience with IV infusions & cardiac drips (Cardene, Cardizem, Dopamine, etc.)
- Post-procedure monitoring (Angio, s/p TPA, carotid stents, etc.)
- Drain management (Lumbar, subdural drains)
- Phlebotomy, blood cultures, IV placement
✔ Flexibility: Must be able to float to similar units
Start Date: March and April 2025
