We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control and Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory operations and ensure efficient warehouse management for multiple warehouse locations within the United States. Minimal travel may be required for this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of inventory and warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels for parts and repairs, locations, and movements.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping including international shipping.
- Overseeing the receiving of incoming goods, checking for accuracy, and coordinating the timely dispatch of orders to customers.
- Ensure proper organization and layout of the warehouse for optimal space utilization and efficiency.
- Optimal packing and shipping experience with many sources including international freight.
- Coordinate with the workshop supervisor to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Manage, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
- Collaborate with procurement to forecast inventory and shipping schedules.
- Liaise with transport providers to optimize delivery schedules and costs including in-house drivers and freight companies.
- Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to manage operations.
