Warehouse Position Details
- Location: Paso Robles
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (4/10s)
- Potential Growth: Opportunity to advance to a Production Operator role (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with overtime
- Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Salary Range: $20 - $23.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping bays, pallet areas, and workstations neat through daily housekeeping activities.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas. Perform routine inspections to ensure forklifts are suitable for use.
- Shipping & Receiving: Ship and receive materials to fulfill orders and receive materials from suppliers. Weigh products or materials and record information for inventory purposes.
- Order Fulfillment: Enter data into the computer for all orders received daily and file supplier paperwork correctly. Load outbound trucks and containers for next-day deliveries, ensuring a detailed review of product name, lot number, and quantity. Label products based on company guidelines.
- Picking & Packing: Pick items as required by the pick list, prepare shipments using the wrap machine, properly label, and ensure compliance with DOT transportation requirements.
- Handling Materials: Pull empty drums and containers, fill drums. Use proper equipment for the safe handling of equipment and supplies.
- Compliance: Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Responsible Distribution (RD) procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, goggles, face shield, safety shoes, chemical-resistant clothing, gloves, dust mask, respirators)
- Willingness to advance into a Production Operator role with a night shift
