Purpose
Responsible for leading and managing the company's procurement and supply chain operations functions across all business units for both direct and indirect purchases. Lead the strategic sourcing process that aligns with the company's long-term business goals, including strategy development, spend and market analysis, supplier selection and negotiation, contract development and management, implementation, performance management, and risk management. Collaborate with other executives to support the organization's growth and operational excellence
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Formulate and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's long-term business objectives. This includes identifying and leveraging procurement opportunities to drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and support innovation
Provide visionary leadership to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Manage the end-to-end source-to-pay process, including supplier identification, sourcing, contracting, procurement, and supplier management
Implement best practices in procurement, including process improvement and digital transformation, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve transparency
Develop a spend measurement dashboard with KPI's and drive cost reduction initiatives across all categories of spend without compromising quality or service levels
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring high level or service, quality, and reliability
Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal requirements
Regularly report on and meet procurement metrics, including gross and net savings, budget performance, compliance, and other performance metrics
Ensure the compilation and maintenance of organized purchasing records, assuring that all purchase activities are fully documented and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 15 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least five years at a Vice President or Director/Senior Director level
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including compliance and industry standards, to ensure ethical and compliant procurement practices
Prior supervisory experience is required, with a minimum of 10 years' supervisory experience and success in team and direct report management, including team building, recruiting, and team mentoring
Expertise with procurement and management software (e.g., Zycus, SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.) and digital procurement tools to enhance operational efficiency

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey procurement strategies with organizational values
Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges and uncertainty
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel to create documents, presentations, and data analysis
