Purpose
Responsible for managing and monitoring the cash activity on a daily basis, preparing journal entries and reports, and maintaining treasury workstation cash, debts, accounting, and banking modules. Support M&A integration and bank relationships
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Own cash desk operations (ACH, wire, check deposits, positive pay review)
Support M&A integration and monitor banking activities of acquired entities
Maintain bank accounts management module in the treasury workstation (400 bank accounts)
Maintain treasury service ticket requests and ensure timely assistance to business units
Support daily cash accounting and bank-to-book reconciliation in the treasury workstation and assist in month-end close
Maintain banking systems users, bank accounts signature cards, records of legal documentation, and service agreements
Ensure daily electronic bank statements and monthly account analysis file transmissions in the treasury workstation for all bank accounts and ensure cash flow/bank statement balance reconciliation
Support bank account opening/closure and service implementation
Support cash position and cash forecast updates and reporting
Maintain checks deposit log and related journal entries
Maintain treasury operations journal entries (bank fee, interest income, intercompany transfers, and reconciliation)
Support year-end audits and assist business units with banking and treasury-related accounting inquiries
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university with a concentration in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Minimum of three years of related experience in Treasury and Risk Management
Strong cash management knowledge and expertise in developing and maintaining treasury policies and procedures
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Experience with processes in high-volume environments while maintaining financial controls
Experience working with treasury workstation, preferably Kyriba
Strong knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with long- and short-term response requirements
Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize appropriately and meet tight deadlines
Strong banking knowledge and relationships
Extremely reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with the utmost confidentiality
Detail-oriented and highly sensitive to deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, oral and in writing; ability to build relationships and work with a wide variety of people and functions, both internally and externally
Proactive and a quick learner
Familiarity with commercial lines of insurance and relevance to operations a plus
