What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst position at Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and borrowing activities.
- Maintain annual bank fee plan and updated actuals for all banking and merchant fees.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.
- Reconcilement of daily cash positions in Treasury management system.
- Maintain relationships with domestic banks, international banks, and financial institutions to ensure efficient borrowing and funding operations.
- Actively monitor the centralized global cash management of daily activities.
- Support TAH affiliates with bank investigations for Collection and Disbursement transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury and financial management.
- Manage the daily electronic banking reporting delivered from banks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather financial data and support business decision-making processes.
- Validate completeness in global bank reporting and as needed investigate missing BAI / BAI2 / MT940.
- Monitor market conditions and assess their impact on the company’s financial strategies.
- Maintain a current inventory of bank legal agreements and service contracts.
- Support data collection for Annual KYC banking review as required by banking partners.
- Collect monthly bank analysis Fee statements (AAS) from all relationship banks.
- Manage and track Letter of Credit activities and report costs to TAH.
- Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- All other job duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, treasury, or related financial roles.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Experience with treasury management systems and banking operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Dynamics 365) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site at our Foothill Ranch, CA office.
Profile Differentiators:
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Experience in founding, co-founding or working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in Powersports Finance Industry (motorcycle, ATVs UTVs, PWCs)
- Experience in a FinTech startup.
- Advanced Professional degree.
Salary Range:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
