We’re currently seeking a Staff Accountant specializing in payroll to join our team. The Staff Accountant specializing in payroll will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for 3,300 ConGlobal employees across 11 different pay groups for five legal entities while ensuring the Accounting, HR and Benefits requests are handled appropriately.
Responsibilities
Staff Accountant• Assist with the processing of payroll in Dayforce • Verification of system calculated pay based on timecards and review of employee profile changes and applicable deductions • Process manual checks as required in immediate pay states • Monitor and maintain deductions for 1,100 union employees while completing remittances and assisting with data gathering for union audits• Maintain payroll records and distribute reports to accounting and management• Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts while addressing discrepancies • Communication with employees and field leadership regarding payroll inquiries and concerns • Deliver various ad-hoc reports as needed
