At Treatz Bakery, we are dedicated to creating exceptional baked goods that delight our customers. We are looking for two passionate and skilled chefs to join our vibrant team in Dallas and help us craft delicious treats!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and cookies using a range of baking techniques.
• Develop and modify recipes to create unique baked goods, scaling them for different production volumes.
• Skillfully decorate cakes, cookies, and pastries, employing various icing, fondant, and glazing techniques.
• Operate and maintain commercial baking equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
• Source high-quality ingredients, leveraging knowledge of different types of flours, sugars, and baking components.
  
  

Qualifications

• Professional Experience:
• Proficiency in various baking techniques and knowledge of dough mixing, kneading, and proofing.
• Ability to innovate and create new baked goods, including seasonal and themed items.
• Experience with customer service, including taking special orders and responding to feedback.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in measuring ingredients and consistency in product quality.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with experience in training and mentoring junior bakers.
• Education and Certifications:
• Formal education in baking and pastry arts is preferred but not required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Pastry Chef, Food Handler's Certificate) are a plus.
