Job Summary:
Experience Requirement:
- Overall IT Experience: 9 years in process automation, system integration, and software development.
- Automation Anywhere Expertise: 5 years with A360, focusing on bot development, deployment, control room administration, and governance.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Anywhere Lead/Senior Developer to lead end-to-end RPA solutions, enterprise integration, and automation governance. The role involves building scalable automation frameworks, optimizing bot performance, managing deployments, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive AI/ML-enhanced automation.
Core Responsibilities:
RPA Development & Optimization:
- Develop and implement A360 bots with a focus on modular, reusable automation frameworks.
- Independently design and build automation frameworks to promote reusability, modularity, and maintainability.
- Implement robust error handling, exception management, logging, and debugging mechanisms.
- Oversee bot lifecycle management, including testing, debugging, deployment, and performance optimization.
Control Room & Governance:
- Manage Control Room operations, including user access, bot execution, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring.
- Ensure security protocols, audit compliance, and governance for bot operations.
- Optimize bot performance and system resource utilization through analytics and monitoring.
Enterprise System Integration:
- Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems such as ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), SQL databases, and APIs.
- Design API-based automation solutions using REST/SOAP integrations.
- Implement and optimize automation for terminal-based systems, including:
- TN3270 (IBM Mainframes)
- TN5250 (IBM AS/400)
- VT100 (Unix/Linux)
- Telnet (Remote system access)
AI/ML & OCR-Driven Automation:
- Utilize OCR tools (ABBYY, Tesseract) to enhance data extraction and processing.
- Explore AI/ML-based automation to improve workflow efficiency and decision-making.
Collaboration & Process Automation:
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and optimize workflows.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and provide recommendations for enterprise-wide automation.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit standards.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor junior developers, fostering expertise in bot development, Control Room best practices, and enterprise automation.
- Lead RPA initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring efficient development cycles.
- Conduct code reviews and testing to maintain high-quality automation deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Automation Anywhere Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in A360, including bot development, deployment, and Control Room administration.
- Expertise in building scalable, reusable automation frameworks independently.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, VBScript.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, API integrations, and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with terminal emulators for automating mainframe, AS/400, and Unix-based systems.
Cloud & DevOps:
- Familiarity with cloud-based RPA deployments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, Jenkins).
Security & Governance:
- Strong understanding of RPA security frameworks, audit compliance, and access controls.
Automation & Process Improvement:
- Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and enhance existing automation solutions for better performance.
Bot Types & AI-Driven Automation:
- Experience with attended and unattended bots; familiarity with IQ Bot is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional or Master RPA Professional.
