Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Sprint Planning to coordinate and prepare changes for release, taking the lead in organizing release planning sessions.
- Offer Tier 1 support to developers during commits and integration deployments.
- Manage deployments to the UAT and Stage environments, ensuring Pstage is deployed at least once per day EST.
- Supervise Production environment deployments:
- Available to deploy twice a month to Prod (Wednesdays at 6 AM EST for Ops org).
- Available to deploy once a month for Health org (Friday nights at 9 PM EST).
- Assist the Platform Engineer in enhancing and improving tools.
Required Expertise & Experience:
- Release Management: Adherence to industry best practices.
- Salesforce:
- Comprehensive understanding of MetaData.
- Strong knowledge of Apex Code, including Code Coverage , Testing etc
- Proficient in using VS Code, including handling Package.xml.
- Copado:
- In-depth experience with Metadata pipelines, including Commits , Promotions & Deployments
- GitHub:
- Advanced expertise in Branching Strategy
- Experienced in managing Pull Requests
- Practical experience with GitHub operations such as Cloning , Pull vs Sync , Stage vs Commit & Merge
- Solid working knowledge of VS Code features, including Extensions , Search etc
