Job Summary/Duties
The Congregation of the Mission, Western Province,the Vincentians, is a religious community of Catholic priests and brothers who collectively evangelize the poor through word, sacrament, and service. They are seeking a communications assistant to work at their Midtown St. Louis Office at 3701 Forest Park Ave.
Primary duties are to produce and maintain a social media content schedule, posting from it and in real-time as needed across a variety of platforms for the Congregation of the Mission Western Province and for the Province’s Vocations Office. The Communications Assistant will also aid the Communications Manager with website content updates as needed, as well as photography, videography, and photo/video editing.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in communications or a related area and 2-4 years of communications experience
- Experience in social media management is essential.
- Experience in photography, videography, video editing, and website content management systems is beneficial.
Benefits/Salary
The Western Province offers full benefits and a flexible Monday-through-Thursday work schedule with occasional evening and weekend duties for special events. The salary range for the position is $52,000-$57,000.
