Position Overview
The Golf Course Equipment Mechanic will assist in maintaining and repairing all golf course maintenance equipment, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.
What will be expected of you:
- Assist the Equipment Manager with preventative and corrective maintenance of golf course equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
- Complete and update daily service records in the Golf Course Management System
- Support the Greens and Grounds Team in daily operations
How we determine your qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 3 years of mechanical experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in small engine repair and/or turf equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use logical and scientific thinking to troubleshoot issues
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic (fractions, decimals, and percentages)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting 50 lbs. regularly
