Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of matters, including case management, document review and preparation
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft and proofread legal documents.
- Maintain document management systems and organize case files
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with State agencies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal case management processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in Probate/Estate administrative is preferred
