Requirements

Duties
- Receiving and Prioritizing Requests: Handle incoming calls or requests, often from customers or drivers, and prioritize them based on urgency or service requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Log activities, incidents, and communications to ensure accurate records and support operational analysis.
- Coordinating Schedules and Routes: Assign drivers and vehicles to specific locations, often optimizing schedules or routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitoring and Tracking: Update flight schedule, keep track of the status and location of drivers and vehicles, using communication tools and GPS technology.
- Emergency Response Coordination: In emergency situations (e.g., auto-collision or vehicle breakdown), dispatchers receive driver or customer calls, provide instructions, and coordinate the deployment of recovery vehicles and roadside assistance.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Act as a point of contact for drivers, relaying information, addressing issues, and making real-time adjustments to schedules or assignments as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of GPS/GIS technologies is advantageous for effective route planning and tracking.
