Overview:
The Production Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising staff and maintaining quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Project Planning: Plan, organize, and direct production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Process Optimization: Monitor production processes and implement strategies to enhance workflow and reduce waste.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and quality control teams to meet production goals.
- Performance Analysis: Prepare and present production reports to upper management, recommending improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply general mathematical concepts to production and operational situations.

This role is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level can be moderate to high, and safety gear may be required.
