Position - Cost Accountant
Location - Chicago (near Midway)
Office Policy - On-Site
Compensation - Range of $100k-$105k base plus bonus plus pension
Responsibilities
- Maintain & update inventory costs across four U.S. locations.
- Analyze manufacturing and purchasing variances to optimize inventory costs.
- Develop cost models for new products and provide insights for business managers.
- Lead the annual standard cost-setting process and support the development of manufacturing plans.
- Support the month-end close, including inventory reconciliations, cost allocations, and audit requests.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of accounting experience, including 5 years in cost accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Knowledge of GAAP & strong analytical skills.
- SAP experience preferred; Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Salary : $100,000 - $105,000
