Connect Search has a client who is an Investment Advisory Organization in Irving, Texas who is seeking to hire a Data Center Physical Security Manager to oversee security operations across multiple enterprise data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-site security management, physical security systems, policy development, and vendor compliance—preferably with prior experience in data center environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce Security Program standards across all data centers.
- Manage physical security systems (access control, surveillance, alarms) and troubleshoot issues with vendors.
- Lead security audits, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
- Oversee security construction projects and process improvements.
- Ensure vendor compliance, track deliverables, and escalate corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and leadership to align security strategies.
Requirements:
- 10 years in security operations, with 5 years in data center physical security.
- Expertise in security system architecture, installation, and administration.
- Strong policy/procedure development and regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills—able to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-site emergency response.
